DIWALI CELEBRATION

Lucknow Public School celebrated Diwali with joy and devotion, honoring the story of Lord Ram’s return to Ayodhya. The event was filled with music, dance, and colorful performances. Students began with a song, Ram Aayenge, creating a devotional atmosphere, followed by a cheerful dance to Happy Diwali. Ratan Sir sang Ram Ji Ki Nikli Sawari, which everyone enjoyed. The choir also sang Shri Ramchandra Kripalu Bhajman, bringing peace and devotion to the celebration.A highlight was the jhanki, where Classes 1 and 2 students dressed as Ram Ji, Sita Ji,Lakshman Ji, Bharat ji, and Hanuman Ji, bringing the Ramayana story to life.The celebration was a beautiful tribute to Diwali, filled with devotion, joy, and cultural pride,

making it memorable for all.

DUSSEHRA CELEBRATION

Lucknow Public School celebrated Dussehra with great enthusiasm, bringing students together to enjoy the spirit of the festival. The highlight of the event was a lively dandiya performance by students from Classes 6 to 8, who danced gracefully in colorful traditional outfits, filling the atmosphere with energy and excitement.

The rhythmic beats of the music and the joyful dandiya dance captured the festive mood and made everyone feel the joy of Dussehra. Teachers and students gathered to watch, cheering for the dancers as they celebrated the victory of good over evil.

The event was a wonderful way to bring students together and celebrate Dussehra in a fun and memorable way.

COSTUMES OF THE WORLD

Lucknow Public School recently organized an event called Costumes of the World, where students of Class III To V wore traditional outfits from different countries. The event aimed to celebrate the diversity and beauty of global cultures. Students proudly dressed in the traditional attire of countries like India, Nepal, Myanmar, Malaysia, America, Saudi Arabia, and Spain. The colorful and unique costumes represented the rich traditions and heritage of each nation. CELEBRATING GANDHI JAYANTI

Lucknow Public School celebrated Gandhi Jayanti with great enthusiasm, honoring the life and legacy of Mahatma Gandhi. The event began with a soulful choir performance, where students sang patriotic songs that highlighted Gandhiji's values of peace and unity.

A memorable moment was the portrayal of Mahatma Gandhi, with a student depicting him spinning the charkha, symbolizing simplicity and self-reliance. The event also featured a vibrant dance performance by students on patriotic songs, filling the atmosphere with national pride.

Adding to the excitement, a quiz competition was held, where all four houses Bharat, Dhruv, Eklavya and Karan—competed, showcasing their knowledge about Gandhiji's life and India’s freedom struggle. Eklavya emerged as the winner, while Bharat secured the runner-up position.

The celebration was a fitting tribute to Gandhiji’s teachings and his enduring influence on India’s path to freedom.

स्वच्छता सप्ताह का आयोजन

लखनऊ पब्लिक स्कूल ,उन्नाव (सी०पी० सिंह फाऊंडेशन) विद्यालय परिसर में 23 से 29 सितंबर तक स्वच्छता सप्ताह पूर्व नियोजित सूचना के आधार पर व्यवस्थित ढंग से मनाया गया। इस सप्ताह के अंतर्गत विद्यालय परिसर में विभिन्न कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए गए एवं स्वच्छता हेतु जागरूकता अभियान चलाया गया। स्वच्छता सप्ताह के प्रथम दिवस में विशेष प्रार्थना सभा आयोजित की गई जिसमें विद्यालय की जूनियर कक्षाओं के छात्र-छात्राओं ने एक नुक्कड़ नाटक प्रस्तुत किया और लोगों को स्वच्छता के नियमों का पालन करने हेतु प्रेरित किया। प्रार्थना सभा में सभी छात्र-छात्राओं एवं शिक्षकों को स्वच्छता शपथ भी दिलाई गई जिससे व्यक्तिगत स्वच्छता के साथ-साथ पर्यावरण को साफ सुथरा बनाने पर बल दिया गया। विद्यालय के शारीरिक शिक्षा विभाग के शिक्षकों के निर्देशन में छात्र-छात्राओं द्वारा जरूरतमंद बच्चों को व्यक्तिगत स्वच्छता सामग्री भी वितरित की गई जिसका उद्देश्य एक स्वच्छ समाज का निर्माण करना है। स्वच्छता सप्ताह के अंतिम दिवस पर स्वच्छता अभियान रैली का आयोजन किया गया जिसमें विद्यालय की जूनियर एवं माध्यमिक कक्षाओं के छात्र-छात्राओं ने सक्रियतापूर्वक भाग लिया एवं रैली के दौरान मिलने वाले लोगों को स्वच्छता के नियम बताए तथा यहां- वहां कूड़ा ना फैलाने के लिए आग्रह किया। यह सभी कार्यक्रम स्वच्छता सप्ताह की थीम“ स्वच्छता ही सेवा है "के आधार पर आयोजित किए गए ।स्वच्छता सप्ताह में विद्यालय के प्रधानाचार्य राकेश सिंह व जितेंद्र यादव एवं श्रीमती रजनी सिंह द्वारा बच्चों को संबोधित करते हुए उन्हें स्वयं साफ- सुथरा रहने ,अपने पर्यावरण को स्वच्छ बनाने में अपनी भागीदारी सुनिश्चित करने तथा वातावरण को हरा भरा बनाने के लिए प्रेरित किया।

हिंदी सप्ताह २०२४

लखनऊ पब्लिक स्कूल में 9 से 14 सितंबर तक हिंदी सप्ताह बड़े उत्साह से मनाया गया। हिंदी सप्ताह के उपलक्ष्य में विद्यालय में आयोजित किए जाने वाले कार्यक्रमों की रूपरेखा पहले से तैयार कर ली गई थी इसके अंतर्गत रोचक एवं रंगारंग कार्यक्रमों से युक्त प्रार्थना सभाएं, शून्य चक्र में विभिन्न कक्षाओं के लिए रोचक एवं ज्ञानवर्धक क्रियाकलाप सम्मिलित किए गए। प्राथमिक कक्षाओं में जहां दोहा वाचन ,कविता वाचन एवं पहेलियों का भंडार जैसे क्रियाकलापों में बच्चों ने बड़े मां से भाग लिया वहीं सीनियर कक्षाओं में त्वरित भाषण, सुविचार लेखन तथा भजन दोनों देशभक्ति गीतों पर आधारित अंत्याक्षरी क्रियाकलापों में बच्चों ने अपनी सक्रिय भागीदारी सुनिश्चित की। माध्यमिक कक्षाओं में हिंदी सप्ताह के दौरान अंताक्षरी प्रतियोगिता कक्षा स्तर पर एवं वाद विवाद प्रतियोगिता अंतर्सदनीय आधार आयोजित की गई। विद्यालय समूह के मुख्यालय से आए शिक्षकों ने शाखा स्तर पर विभिन्न प्रतियोगिताएं संपन्न करवाई एवं बच्चों की प्रतिभा का आकलन किया। हिंदी सप्ताह के समापन पर 15 सितंबर को लखनऊ में शिक्षकों एवं बच्चों के मध्य हिंदी प्रतियोगिताएं आयोजित की गई जिनमें बच्चों का प्रदर्शन शानदार रहा एवं दोहा वाचन तथा सुलेखन में बच्चों ने तृतीय स्थान प्राप्त किया ।

WORLD POSTAL DAY

**Lucknow Public School** celebrated *World Postal Day* with great excitement, highlighting the importance of the postal system. The event began with a speech by one of the students, explaining the history and significance of postal services and how they continue to connect people across the world. The event was a meaningful tribute to the postal system and the valuable role it plays in our lives.The purpose of World Post Day is to bring awareness to the Post's role in the everyday lives of people and businesses, as well as its contribution to global social and economic development

SHOW AND TELL ACTIVITY

The Show and Tell activity at Lucknow Public School, Unnao, for Class I & II focused on "flags of different countries" to promote global awareness and cultural understanding. Students were introduced to various flags, participated in an interactive session, and answered questions about the flags' names, colors, and symbols. The activity enhanced their knowledge of geography, improved observation and recall skills, and boosted their confidence in public speaking. Overall, the event was engaging, informative, and fostered a sense of global citizenship.

HONOURING THE WINNERS OF STATE-LEVEL BADMINTION CHAMPIONSHIP

A special assembly was held at Lucknow Public School to honor the outstanding achievements of our students in recent sports events. The assembly began with the recognition of students who secured 1st position in the district-level 3 km marathon race. They were awarded medals and certificates for their remarkable performance, making the school proud.
In addition, participation certificates were presented to the students who represented the school in the State-level badminton championship. Their dedication and hard work were applauded, and they were encouraged to continue striving for excellence in future competitions.
The assembly concluded with words of encouragement from the Principal, who congratulated all the winners and participants for their efforts and dedication to sports.

TEACHERS' TRAINING FOR TATA EDGE CLASS

Lucknow Public School recently hosted a Tata ClassEdge workshop focused on the effective use of smart boards in the classroom. The workshop introduced teachers to a range of educational content available through the smart board, including videos, animations, and interactive modules designed to enhance student engagement and understanding.

Participants received hands-on training in integrating these digital resources into their lessons, making the learning experience more dynamic and interactive. The session concluded with a Q&A, where teachers shared their enthusiasm for adopting these innovative tools in their classrooms.

INVESTITURE CEREMONY

The Investiture Ceremony at Lucknow Public School was a grand and solemn event that marked the official beginning of the new academic year’s student leadership.The highlight of the event was the conferring of badges to the newly elected student council members by our esteemed Principal. With pride and dignity, the Head Boy and Head Girl were the first to receive their badges, followed by the Sports Captains, House Captains, and Prefects. Each of these young leaders stepped forward with confidence, ready to take on their responsibilities and lead by example.

In her address, the Principal emphasized the importance of leadership, responsibility, and the role of the student council in upholding the values of the school. She encouraged the newly elected leaders to be role models for their peers and to lead with integrity, respect, and commitment.

The ceremony concluded with a pledge by the student council, promising to carry out their duties to the best of their abilities.

Independence Day celebration

Lucknow Public School celebrated the 78th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor. The school campus was adorned with tricolors, creating an atmosphere of national pride. The event began with the unfurling of the national flag by the Principal, followed by the singing of the national anthem, which filled the air with patriotism. The celebrations continued with a series of vibrant cultural performances. The students showcased their talent through a mesmerizing dance performance that depicted the rich cultural heritage of India. A thought-provoking skit was also staged, highlighting the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and the importance of unity in diversity. The school choir then took the stage, singing a medley of patriotic songs that resonated with the spirit of freedom and unity. The event reached its pinnacle with an impressive pyramid formation by the students, symbolizing strength and solidarity.

SPECIAL ASSEMBLY ON QUIT INDIA MOVEMENT

Lucknow Public School Sec-B Unnao commemorated the Quit India Movement with a special assembly. Students from classes 9 to 12 delivered a powerful skit, reenacting the key events of the movement and honoring the bravery of India’s freedom fighters. The performance vividly depicted the spirit of resistance and unity that fueled the nation’s struggle for independence. SPECIAL ASSEMBLY ON THE OCCASION OF KARGIL VIJAY DIWAS

Kargil Vijay Diwas is celebrated annually on July 26 to honour the courage of Indian soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the country during the Kargil War of 1999 under Operation Vijay. A Special assembly was conducted at Lucknow public school Unnao on 26 July 2024 to celebrate Kargil Diwas . It was celebrated with great enthusiasm at our school, where students from performed patriotic dances. Their energy and spirit reflected their deep respect for our brave soldiers. The program also included heartfelt recitations of patriotic poems in both Hindi and English, highlighting the sacrifices made by our armed forces.The highlight of the event was a moving speech delivered by Class 4 student, reminding everyone of the significance of Kargil Vijay Diwas and the valour of our soldiers. VAN MAHOTSAV- TREE PLANTATION

On Friday, July 5, 2024, a successful Plantation Drive was held, featuring enthusiastic participation from students of classes 4 and 5. The event aimed to raise environmental awareness and contribute to a greener planet. The young participants eagerly planted saplings in the school garden, guided by their teachers and volunteers. The students learned about the importance of trees in maintaining ecological balance and the benefits they bring to the environment. This hands-on experience not only educated them about sustainability but also instilled a sense of responsibility towards nature. The plantation drive concluded with a sense of accomplishment and a commitment to continue caring for the newly planted trees.

WORLD POPULATION DAY ACTIVITY

World population Day is celebrated on an international level by organizing a variety of activities and events to draw the attention of masses to work together on the issues of the growing population.
A special Assembly was conducted at Lucknow Public School, Unnao, on 11 July 2024, to celebrate the “World Population Day”. Students presented a small act which dealt with the reasons for the population increase.
The students expressed their deep concern and care for the healthy growth and safety of the human race. They showcased the consequences of the population explosion that included food and water shortage, war and social conflict and depletion of natural resources.

VAN MAHOTSAV CELEBRATION-PAPER CRAFT ACTIVITY

Van Mahotsav is celebrated on the first week of July every year in India. Van mahotsav is celebrated in India for planting trees. To highlight the importance of trees and forests in preserving ecological harmony and ensuring ecological integrity, the Ministry of Agriculture launched it in 1950. Van Mahotsav has come a long way since it was first established - started as a movement, evolved to a crusade to save mother earth. Our school is celebrating Van Mahotsav Week, on this occasion an art and craft based PAPER CRAFT ACTIVITY held in our school. The students of class IV participated with great enthusiasm. The curiosity to learn and the will to create a change were clearly seen in the efforts of the students.

MANGO DAY CELEBRATION

A fun-n-learn Mango Party was celebrated in the school for the students of class 1 and 2 to enjoy the season of King of fruits 'Mango'. The activity area was decorated in yellow & green in tune with the theme.The kids

came in yellow dress.The students were indulged in various

creative as well as fun activities such as mango race, mango paper tearing and pasting ,poems and dance. During the lunch time, students shared and relished diced mangoes .A variety of mangoes were shown to the kids & they were told that this fruit is not only tasty, yummy and flashy but

also has a lot of health benefits . lt was mangolicious day for

the children & they enjoyed a lot.

INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY

On June 21st, our school celebrated International Yoga Day with enthusiastic participation from all teaching staff. The event's theme, "Yoga for Self and Society," emphasized the holistic benefits of yoga for individual and collective well-being. The day began with an introduction to the significance of Yoga Day, followed by revitalizing "Surya Namaskar" led by our Sports teacher. Teachers along with our students engaged in various asanas, pranayama, and meditation practices, promoting physical and mental health. Labour Day, celebrated on the 1st of May, holds great significance at Lucknow Public School. This year, we honoured our hardworking staff members with special cards created by our students.
